Bloxorz unblocked: play Bloxorz online free right here in your browser — no download, no sign-up, works on a school Chromebook.

Bloxorz is a rolling-block puzzle. You steer a long rectangular block across a floating grid of tiles, and the goal on every level is to drop it end-first into a square hole. Nothing chases you and there is no clock to beat. The whole challenge is working out the order of moves, because the block is twice as long as it is wide and does not turn the way a ball would.

A session is a run of short, quiet levels that get harder in small steps. The opening ones teach the basic roll. Later ones add new tile types, and you spend most of your time staring at the map and planning before you press a key. If you came to Duck Life 3 for something relaxed between races, this is a good change of pace: it asks you to think rather than react.

How to play

Bloxorz is played with the keyboard, not the mouse. The arrow keys tip the block over one edge in that direction. Standing upright it covers one tile. Lying down it covers two. Each tip changes which way it lies, so a single step can turn a tall block into a flat one and back again.

The block falls if any part of it hangs over empty space, and you restart the level. You win only when it stands upright over the goal hole. Lying across the hole does nothing.

New tile types appear as you go:

  • Orange tiles are fragile. They hold a lying block but give way if you stand the block on end over them.
  • Round and cross-shaped switches open or close bridges. Some are triggered by any contact, others only when the block stands on them upright.
  • Later levels can split the block into two small cubes that you control one at a time. Press Space to change which one you are moving, and bring them together so they merge again.

The game counts your moves on each level. That number is only a score to improve on, not a limit, so you can take as many moves as you need.

Tips

  • Work backwards from the hole. The last move always ends with the block upright on the goal, so decide which tile you must arrive from and which orientation you need there.
  • Before the first move, find which tiles the block can only cross lying down and which ones it can stand on. Narrow one-tile strips force a specific orientation and usually give away the route.
  • When a bridge switch seems to need a detour, check whether you can step on it without tipping off the platform. Plan the return trip before you commit.
  • If you are stuck in a tangle, restart instead of trying to undo it by hand. A fresh attempt with the route in your head is faster than recovering a bad position.

If you like having to think through a level, Fish Eat Fish is a quicker game about growing by eating smaller fish, while Crossy Road asks for reflexes instead of planning. Collect N Evolve is a more casual progression game, and Quack Quest is one for when you want a story-driven adventure. Bloxorz is the only one in this line-up that works like a pure logic puzzle.

It suits short sessions on a laptop or Chromebook with a keyboard. It runs in the browser with nothing to install. On a phone you need a build with touch controls, as the game expects arrow keys.

Questions about Bloxorz

Is Bloxorz unblocked at school?

Bloxorz runs in an ordinary browser tab from ducklife3.org, with nothing to download or install, so it plays on most school Chromebooks and work computers. If a network filter blocks the site, only that network's administrator can change it.

What are the controls in Bloxorz?

Use the arrow keys to tip the block over one edge. In levels with a split block, Space switches which of the two cubes you are moving.

How do I finish a level?

Stand the block upright on the square goal hole so it falls in. Lying across the hole does not count.

Why does the block fall through orange tiles?

Orange tiles are fragile and only support a lying block. Standing the block on end over one makes it break.

Is Bloxorz free to play?

Yes. It runs in your browser on ducklife3.org with no download or account.
